KLUTE’s president, Jordan Klute, stands next to their recently completed building, which will allow KLUTE to double its production.

It’s all about growth at KLUTE, which has recognized the tremendous expansion in the electrical utility industry and its increasing demands. Thanks to careful planning and preparations at their plant, they are well-positioned to handle this growth.

“We’ve spent a lot of time over the past 5-7 years investing in advanced equipment that enables us to do significantly more work in-house,” said President Jordan Klute, the third-generation leader of the family-owned business.

KLUTE is a steel fabricator specializing in substation and transmission line projects for the electrical utility industry. The company recently completed a new facility that will double its capacity for manufacturing substations. The facility features welding bays, space for full-scale structure assembly, and support office space.

“The new building is now open, and by the end of the year, we will be adding a second shift. Once everything is operational, we will be able to double production,” Klute explained.

This expansion in production capacity will require a significant increase in the workforce. “We will need not only welders but also estimators, engineers, machine operators, and structural drafters,” Klute noted.

KLUTE anticipates sustained growth as the electrical utility industry remains stable and continues to expand.

“We’ve cleared the major hurdles. We’ve invested in our facility, hired skilled employees, and built a strong reputation for high quality and delivering projects on time,” Klute said.

KLUTE has many job openings that will become available over the next few months. In talking with employees, KLUTE has a reputation for caring for their employees and trusting them to do their best work. Their facility is located 12 miles west of York, just off Highway 34.
