The Heartland Huskie volleyball team hosted the McCool Mustangs on Thursday, September 26, winning in three sets – 25-20, 25-28, and 25-20. Jamisen Klein led the team with 8 kills, Riley Quiring – 6, and Laura Splinter – 5. Lydia Jahnke served up 5 aces for the Huskies.
The Huskies traveled to a tournament in Hampton on Saturday and lost to Hampton 19-25, 19-25, and Lawrence-Nelson 22-25, 16-25. They won against the Mead Red Raiders 25-28 and 25-29 for seventh place in the tournament.
