Village Board Candidate Filings Continue

YORK—Candidates seeking seats on village boards are continuing to file for consideration in the November General Election.

​All other races have already been solidified for the fall election, but these board races are still being created.
If someone wants to file their candidacy, they can do so with the election commission/county clerk’s office.
So far, these are the candidates for the various village board races in the county (as of June 28):

  • Benedict: Erich Heiden and Lonney Schlegelmilch. There are three seats up for election.
  • Bradshaw: John Hastings, Eric Jensen, James Gordan, Mary Kempf, Devon Stamp and Kent Meyers. There are three seats up for election.
  • Gresham: James O’Donnell, Justin Brahmsteadt and Colton Luettel. There are three seats up for election.
  • Lushton: Jason Balaban and Diana Weisheit. There are three seats up for election.
  • McCool: Reid VanWeston. There are three seats up for election.
  • Thayer: Faron Hines. There are two seats up for election.
  • Waco: Robert Saeger and Todd Bauder. There are three seats up for election.

Incumbents’ deadline for filing is July 15. Non-incumbents must file by Aug. 1.
