It’s become a tradition that most classes celebrate reunions during Henderson Community Days; this year was no exception. Here are recaps from the Henderson Community School classes of 1964, 1974, 1994, and Heartland Community School 2004.
Class of 1964—They met for a meal and fellowship at the Hatchery to celebrate their 60th class reunion.

CLASS OF 1974—The class met at Sparrow’s Branch Cafe for dinner and to celebrate their 50th class reunion. They enjoyed a video slide show honoring the deceased members of their class and shared photos of their families.

CLASS OF 1994 – The class of 1994 got together this weekend to celebrate their 30-year class reunion. Classmates met at the Hatchery on Saturday morning to enjoy coffee and reminisce about the “good days at Henderson High School.” Mayor Corbin Tessman dismissed himself early as he needed to attend to his parade duties. In the evening, the class gathered at Tin Shed Flats. The Grainery was decorated with “Huskie” pennants, and the picture of the Henderson Fight Song lyrics was a topic of conversation. Classmates made introductions and gave a brief overview of their families, careers, and happenings over the last 30 years. Mayor Tessman smoked pork loin and made baked beans. Tami Peters contributed the salads and dessert. Coleen Goertzen made Harrison Ford Cake, which was enjoyed and raved about. After taking a class picture, the class visited and enjoyed music by Zach Miller, Braden Janzen, and Hendric Switzer. The 1990’s country music that was played was fantastic and brought back many good memories. CLASS OF 2004 – They met on Saturday evening at the Hatchery to celebrate their 20th reunion, but no picture was available.
