Carli Reiners will open her new business on Main Street in Henderson on Thursday, April 25th.
A unique new business, Rural & Well, will open on Thursday, April 25th, for its first event from 4 – 7 p.m. It will be a fun evening to shop, enjoy the Hangries Food Truck, and learn about Madison+Barrett Permanent Jewelry. Owner Carli Reiners is excited to get her self-care boutique, located at 905 N. Main Street in Henderson, up and running.
As part of the boutique, she will offer clothing, accessories, natural skin care products, devotionals, and mental health support materials for purchase. But the business is much more than a boutique.
Reiners is a licensed mental health therapist who has been practicing for the past eight years. She will use the space to conduct her private practice, provide body image consultations, and a gathering spot for faith-based small groups.
For the past year and a half Reiners has had help renovating the property that was formerly a rental house into a comfortable and stylish space to conduct her business. “The whole idea with the wellness products and clothing was to bring what’s inside a woman and have it reflected authentically on the outside.”
It was important to Reiners to find clothing lines that included a wide range of sizes, from XS to 4XL. Casual wear, denim jeans, shorts, blouses, dresses, and shoes are displayed throughout the boutique.
Carli and her husband, Josh, are no strangers to the Henderson area, even though they live outside of Harvard. Josh is a Physician Assistant at Henderson Health Care, and Carli is employed part-time as the Henderson Health Care Foundation Director.
Reiners explained how her business reflects its Rural & Wellness name. “Wellness encompasses so many things, and for us, the spiritual component is important, so we want to make it a part of what we are doing here. Josh and I both come from rural backgrounds and work in rural healthcare. We understand and identify what it means to live and work in a rural setting.”
Here’s the Rural & Well upcoming schedule of events:
Rural & Well will consistently be open for a variety of Ladies Night-themed events on Thursday evenings and by appointment on Fridays for body imaging consultations. It will be open to everyone on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
