The Heartland boys golf team finally competed in their first meet on Wednesday at the Friend Country Club. It was windy, but the sun was shining, and Heartland was ready to go against a strong field of 11 other schools.
Individually, Creighton Friesen scored 84 (43-41) for a second-place finish. Andrew Franz posted a 93 (42-46) and came in 10th place. It was a great team effort, and Heartland ended up third in the team standings.
