It was all about the tinsel at the Hatchery where Leslie Obrinskey from Studio H had a long line of girls waiting patiently to have sparkling tinsel braided in their hair at the Hatchery!
This year’s Henderson Chamber of Commerce-sponsored Spirit of Christmas event did not disappoint! It was well attended, with large crowds enjoying the festive holiday cheer! Santa Claus was on hand at the City Hall, and there were plenty of free goodies, refreshments, and activities for kids during the evening all along Main Street.
Santa Claus was a good listener for this young boy and Henderson State Bank put out a full spread of cookies, hot cider and veggies during the event.
Coloring activities were provided for the little ones waiting to talk to Santa at the City Hall, and bags of fresh popcorn were handed out at the Hatchery.
Ivy & Main was crowded with customers checking out their Christmas decor, and Sparrow’s Branch was filled with several vendors selling handcrafted knitted and crochet items and enamel cookware.
Bethesda Mennonite Church featured a full Christmas market with plenty of gifts from Ten Thousand Villages and the Christian Bookstore. Mainstay Communications displayed some of their new audio equipment and held a raffle for a new Sonos speaker.
