Card trading, buying, and selling were rampant at the Hatchery in Henderson last Saturday when dozens of kids from the area and their dads gathered for a card event. The event was organized by Taylor Siebert and was held from 9 a.m. – 12 noon. It was packed with boys displaying their favorite cards with some wheeling and dealing going on.

Collecting and trading Sports cards have been around for a long time, but their popularity has surged in the past few years.

Many kids from the ’80s and ’90s who were caught up in collecting cards are parents now who may be part of the reason for such a resurgence in card collection. Maybe it was the downtime during the pandemic, but whatever the reason, it might be time to dig out any card collections you’ve stowed away.
