The Galaway Creek Ladies Scramble League ended its six-week session last Tuesday with one participant scoring a hole-in-one!
Twelve 2 person teams competed in the Tuesday night scramble league for the past six weeks. On their last night, Tanya Carr had the surprise of her life. She aced hole #8, which isn’t the easiest three-par at Galaway Creek to get a hole-in-one on.
Her playing partner Mia Hiebner and fellow competitors Connie Brown and Gina Mestl witnessed it.
This was the first year for the Ladies’ Scramble League, and it was a success with 24 golfers competing. Each week, there was a winner for the session with the best net score. On their final night, they enjoyed a meal together and celebrated Carr’s hole-in-one.
