“All American Fun” is the theme this year for the York County Fair to be held August 3 -6, and the schedule is jam-packed with plenty of fun for the whole family!

Here’s a sampling of some of the tasty food events you’ll find at the fair: Pork BBQ & Watermelon Feed on Thursday, Cattlemen’s Steak Fry and Ice Cream Social on Friday, and the Waffleman all-you-can-eat on Saturday.

The DC Lynch Midway and the exhibit buildings will be open daily. Kids can enjoy the FFA Petting Zoo everyday, Kid’s Fun Day on Saturday morning, a Pedal Tractor Pull on Saturday afternoon, and the Pee Wee Pet Show on Sunday afternoon.

If you’re looking for entertainment, the fair has plenty. The Moore Brothers Band will perform on Thursday evening in the Main Tent, and Ingrid Griffin on Friday night. Beer Gardens with music and dancing will be held both Friday (Pioneer Band) and Saturday (Jordan Schock Band) night. Thursday night features a Taps, Taste & Tunes event.

And of course, the fair wouldn’t be complete without the Demolition Derby held in the Grandstand on Thursday evening and Figure 8 Races on Saturday night.
