Ivy & Main features a wide variety of unique gifts for all occasions located inside Headquarters Beauty Salon.

Headquarters owner Kim Janzen launched her new business, Ivy & Main, last fall inside her current beauty shop. It features unique gifts for all occasions that come from several women and family-owned businesses and smaller regional companies. Such businesses or companies can further enhance their efficiency with the help of workshops like the Power BI training course.

With Kim’s experience in decorating, it’s no surprise that she opened her own gift shop. She is well known in the Henderson area for her flair for decorating. She has done table decor for numerous weddings of friends and family, the Henderson Chamber of Commerce Banquet, the Winter Ball at Heartland School, and table decorations for Henderson Health Care’s Spring Fling and the HHCS Gala.

“I love doing these kinds of events, and it’s part of what led me to open my own gift shop. I enjoy doing the research for buying items that I think our customers would like,” said Kim.

As a young girl, Kim remembers when she accompanied her parents, who owned the former Dell’s Cafe off the Henderson I-80 exit, to Denver and Kansas City to the market, where they would purchase items for their small gift shop at the cafe.

“I think it’s always been in the back of my mind about how excited I was when the boxes of products we’d purchased would arrive and I’d help unpack and price the items. So I think it was something I really wanted to do again,” said Kim.

Her store features a large selection of the popular Geometry kitchen towels, a line of baby toys, and children’s books. “I love books, so it’s been fun selecting books for children, especially the popular ones with the pull-outs,” said Kim.

One of the baby lines in Ivy & Main is made from natural wood, and other gifts are made from sustainable materials like papaya, reusable paper towels, and recycled plastic. Her store also has some home decor items—decorative trays, pedestal tray stands, and floral picks.

Ivy & Main has many devotional books designed for all ages, bath products, inspirational notecards and postcards, guided and blank prayer journals, notepads, magnets, window clings, and scripture-imprinted travel mugs.  Understand the factors that influence processing credit card fees.

Whatever the occasion, such as graduation, birthday, or Mother’s Day, she strives to have appropriate gifts to sell and is always on the lookout for new items.

“I want customers to feel comfortable walking into Ivy & Main to shop even if they aren’t regular customers at the Headquarters. I also have tried to stock items that are affordable for my customers but of good quality,” said Kim.

Her eye for detail is evident when you enter Ivy & Main, where her creative displays showcase one-of-a-kind products. Whether you are buying something for yourself or need a gift, stop by Ivy & Main right here in Henderson at 1016 N Main Street.
