Henderson Health Care Services will be represented on two committees within the Nebraska Nursing Facility Association/Nebraska Assisted Living Association in 2021.
Henderson Health Care Services CEO, Cheryl Brown, has been reappointed by the Nebraska Health Care Association’s NNFA/NALA to serve on the Reimbursement Committee and the Quality and Regulatory Committee.
Brown said, “It is a privilege to serve on committees at this level. We work hard to advocate for our profession, the residents we serve, and the reimbursement necessary to ensure care can be provided close to home.”
As a member of the Reimbursement Committee, Brown will represent all of Nebraska’s long-term care providers by focusing on reimbursement systems and their impact on the profession, assist on advising HHS on the impact of proposed changes, and educate members on the impact of the reimbursement system. She will serve a one-year term as a member of the Reimbursement Committee.
The second committee, the Quality and Regulatory Committee, Brown will continue to focus on the review of proposed regulations, survey trends, new guidance documents, and quality improvement programs that impact nursing facilities and assisted living facilities in Nebraska. She will also serve a one-year term as a member of the Quality and Regulatory Committee.
The Nebraska Nursing Facility Association (NNFA) and the Nebraska Assisted Living Association (NALA) are non-profit trade associations, affiliated with the Nebraska Health Care Association, that represent for-profit, non-profit, and governmental assisted living and nursing facilities in Nebraska. Both provide advocacy and education to their members in support of their efforts to provide quality services to Nebraskans.
