On March 16, 2019, the Band Parent Organization will be hosting the 63rd annual Smorgasbord. This event is the sole fundraiser of the Heartland Band Program. The Smorgasbord consists of a meal of ethnic German food including Verenike (cottage cheese pockets), Kielke (ham and noodles), Worscht (sausage), Prieshke, and Plautz (fruit filled pastries), and much more. The evening ends with a concert given by the Senior High Band, Junior High Band, and Jazz Band.
The meal will be served from 5-7:30 p.m., and the band concert will begin at 7:45 p.m. Tickets are sold in advance only. Adult tickets are $15 and child tickets (ages 4-12) are $7.
