Last Friday was full of festivities to wrap up Heartland’s 2017 Homecoming Week. Here’s a few photos from the day:
The elementary students walked together to open the parade.
After weeks of practice, the junior high band marched and performed in the parade and then played again at the game that evening.
The girls golf team brought their carts along for the afternoon.
Following the parade, a pep rally was held in the theater. The kindergarten class reenacted each member of this year’s senior class.
The students took full advantage of the new lights in the theater for their performances at the pep rally.
After Heartland’s huge win in the football game, the royalty gathered on the track for the crowning of king and queen.
Taylor Quiring was crowned queen by last year’s winner Ellie Steingard, and former king Austin Stuhr handed off the crown to Aaron Buller.
