It was a great week of basketball for the Heartland Girls Team in their subdistrict play. Competing at St. Cecilia, on Tuesday they grabbed a huge win over Kenesaw. On Thursday they were also victorious in a well-fought game against Blue Hill. As the #1 seed in their subdistrict going in, the Huskies proved their ranking.
Next Friday, February 24, the girls will play in the district final at 7:00 p.m. at Aurora High School. They will be facing Fullerton.
