The Huskies had a big week of basketball last week facing three different teams. On Tuesday, they played Harvard where both teams grabbed big wins. Friday the teams traveled to play at Exeter-Milligan. In a very close game, the girls fell short to the Timberwolves but the boys did get a win away. For their games on Saturday they faced the Hampton Hawks. Finding themselves in another tight game, the Heartland girls won in an exciting ending. The boys had a bit of a slow start but then were able to pull away for a nice lead and win over Hampton.
The girls hold a 3-1 season record and the boys are 4-0. The girls play Shelby-Rising City away tomorrow and then both teams play away at Thayer Central on Friday.
