Celebrate the Spirit of Christmas on Thursday, December 1, from 5:00-7:30 p.m. on Main Street and around Henderson as various businesses roll out the red carpet for holiday shopping, open houses and kids games.

The Henderson Fire Station will be a one-stop shop for kids as Henderson Fire & Rescue hosts kids bingo for kids in kindergarten and older. For kids 2 years old through PreK, the Heartland Preschool Parent Advisory Committee (P-A-C) will hold a Book Walk and all participants will receive a Christmas book sponsored by Henderson Irrigation. Everyone is invited to sit on Santa’s lap that evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Fire Barn with a special little gift for all the children that visit them that evening. Santa is sponsored by Henderson Health Care.
