It was an outstanding day for the Heartland Track Teams at the D-4 District Meet on Wednesday at Sandy Creek. Twelve Heartland students earned the opportunity to compete at the 2016 Nebraska State Track Meet next week.
At districts, the girls placed second with 85.5Â points, and the boys placed fourth with 78 points. The State Track Meet will take place next Friday and Saturday, May 20 and 21, at Omaha Burke High School. You can find a schedule of events here:Â https://nsaahome.org/textfile/track/trsked.pdf
