This weekend, April 15 & 16, Heartland Community Schools students will be producing the two act play Larceny and Old Lace by Van Vandagriff. The show will begin at 7:00 p.m. Sixteen students are involved as actors and several additional students as crew members.
Larceny and Old Lace is a comedy about Harold Peabody and his family who happen to be prone to taking what isn’t theirs. As the play unfolds, multiple money bags appear as the news of a bank robbery hits home. A pair of recently escaped convicts come into the story, and as the investigation heats up, the comedy increases.
Don’t miss your chance to see the students in this entertaining all-school play. Tickets are still available at the high school office or at the door.
Cast members are: Ethan Hall, Owen Wurst, Addie Swartzendruber, Haley Huebert, Kori Siebert, Mark Perez, Brooke Weisheit, Megan Kroeker, Isabelle Vanderneck, Brittany Quiring, Bailey Monnier, Leslie Braun, Brooklyn Epp, Sadie Carr, Olivia Casper, and Zach Dente.
