This Spring, Heartland Community Schools students will be producing the two act play Larceny and Old Lace by Van Vandagriff April 15 & 16. The play involves sixteen students as actors and several additional students as crew members.
Larceny and Old Lace is a comedy about Harold Peabody and his family who happen to be prone to taking what isn’t theirs. As the play unfolds, multiple money bags appear as the news of a bank robbery hits home. A pair of recently escaped convicts come into the story, and as the investigation heats up, the comedy increases.
