The 2016 Henderson Home Show is quickly approaching, so mark your calendars for Saturday, February 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This year the Home Show will be held in the Heartland High School new gym.
Several new activities will be added this year for kids and adults. One activity that needs early registration is a new Kids Dance Class that will be taking place during the Home Show in the old gym from 9:30-10:45 am. Once registered, students in grades K-6 have the opportunity to learn a Pom and Hip Hop Dance routine lead by Kirby’s School of Dance, then they will perform at the Home Show at 1:00 p.m with the Firecracker Dance Company. This class does require advanced registration due February 22, so contact the Chamber for a registration form or visit www.HendersonNE.com.
Another new feature will be a Taekwondo performance and workshop taking place in the new gym during the Home Show. This event will take place at 10:00 a.m. along with other vendor presentations happening every 30 minutes during the show. All of this is in addition the various vendors set up during the Home Show with 30+ vendors already registered.
