It was a night on repeat for the Huskie boys as they had just watched the girls’ season end against BDS — an all too familiar final opponent.
After a win on Tuesday over Deshler, the team had advanced to play BDS on Thursday at Fillmore Central. The boys were up against a very tough BDS team (now 23-3). The Huskies fell 36-59 to the Eagles. This loss ended Heartland’s season with a 14-11 record — a proud accomplishment for a young team against tough season competition.
