The 2016 Celebrate Henderson Chamber Banquet is next week, on Monday, January 25, at 6:30 p.m. at the MB Church. You have until Friday to reserve your space for this great community event by contacting the Chamber Office. Our banquet sponsors this year include: Cornerstone Bank and Kroeker & Kroeker Insurance and Real Estate.
For the second year in a row, the banquet will include a silent auction featuring a number of great items. Auction items include: an Imax Vase from Baer’s Furniture, a custom built wood toy barn from Custom Wood Products, custom canvas and football player statue from Eakes Office Supply, gift certificate from Henderson, a family activities pass for 2016-2017 from Heartland Community Schools, a pizza party from Henderson FoodMart, a Case International Swing Set seat and two metal signs from York Equipment, an antique pharmacy jar from Europe, a Reinke Wheel Gear Box from Henderson Irrigation, a semi-trailer and tractor toy from Plaines Power and Equipment, jewelry from the Petal Pusher, and a gift pack from the Henderson Pharmacy.Â
Those attending the banquet will also have the privilege to listen to Dr. Tammy Beck from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln on the topic of Finding Passion at Work. Various awards will also be presented during the banquet, including the Friend of Henderson Award and Business Milestone Awards.
Any business that reached a milestone last year in 2015 can be recognized at the banquet if they contact the Chamber Office prior to the event. Businesses do not need to be Chamber members in order to be recognized, but they do need to serve the Henderson area. Milestone awards will be presented in five year increments.
This banquet is open to anyone who is interested in attending from community members to business owners, but all tickets must be purchased at the Chamber Office ahead of time.
