The Henderson Chamber of Commerce and Heartland FFA joined forces to pick up litter along the Henderson Spur. This project was part of the Nebraska Department of Roads Adopt-A-Highway program and the Great Nebraska Trash-Off taking place across the state from April 1-30. During the evening, 25 volunteers collected 19 bags of trash from the 2.5 mile strip of highway.
