The Huskie boys faced the Meridian Mustangs for their first game in the second round of subdistricts last Tuesday. It was a big win for the team with a final score of 56-17. Their final subdistrict game on Thursday proved to be more of a challenge as they played the Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles. In a very close game, the Huskies fell short 41-45 to the Eagles. With a 22-3 record, the Huskies are hopeful to make it to the Boys State Basketball Tournament on wildcard points, but they will wait for the official announcement this week.
