Jack and Kayley are third graders at Heartland in Mrs. Crouch’s class. In the classroom, they are currently learning about prepositions, vowels, division, and multiplication. Both of the students agreed that their favorite subject is PE class because enjoy running around and exercising. They also commented that Mr. Maltsberger makes the class really fun.

For these students, there were many great aspects of going to school at Heartland. One of Kayley’s favorite reasons to attend though is to see her neighbor Bailey who is in high school. Jack most looks forward to celebrating his birthday with his classmates and bringing treats.

Outside of school, Jack stays busy by reading and playing video games. He really enjoys reading The Lemonade War Series. For Kayley, she spends her time riding horses and barrel racing.

Although they are only in the third grade, both students are already dreaming big dreams for their future. Jack aspires to become either a Lego designer or a football player. Kayley has her sights set on becoming a rodeo queen.

Congratulations to Jack and Kayley and all of the elementary students selected!
