The Heartland Huskies hosted the opening round of the Class D-1 State Football Playoffs for the second year in a row last night. The undefeated Huskies (9-0) advanced by defeating the Lourdes CC Knights (4-5) by the score of 74-6.

Heartland will move on to the second round and will travel to play the Clarkson/Leigh Patriots on Wednesday November 5th at 6pm in Leigh, Nebraska.
