Pumpkin Patch in Henderson Opening this Weekend

The van den Berg Pumpkin Patch will be opening this weekend, September 27 and 28, and will be open the next three Saturdays and Sundays. Opening date is Saturday, September 27, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and the closing date is Sunday, October 19, from 1:00-4:00 p.m.  

There are gigantic-I don’t-know-how-we’ll-get-them-out-of-the-garden pumpkins, medium and small pumpkins, white pumpkins, blue-green pumpkins, variegated pumpkins, mini white and orange pumpkins, white flying saucers, green Frankenstein heads, Curshaw squash, swan neck gourds, variegated acorn squash, and bell shaped yellow squash.

There will be games and crafts for the kids and animals to pet and see.  There will also be refreshments to buy and enjoy and apples to pick off the tree, homemade jellies and jams to buy and enjoy at home this fall, and an occasional pie or 2 to purchases as well as cinnamon twists.
