It was a different tune, same story at the 2014 Yorkfest Parade for the Heartland Band today. For the third year in a row, the band won in Class D and also won the overall Governor’s Trophy. Due to their consecutive wins, this particular Governor’s Trophy will now reside at Heartland permanently.
Congratulations to the Heartland Band and Mr. Schweitzer on yet another outstanding performance! The band will now set their sights on the Harvest of Harmony Parade in Grand Island which takes place October 4.
