Thank you to everyone who participated in the HeyHende Selfie Scavenger Hunt during Henderson Community Days and watched the pictures come in online. We had a great turn out of participants and some really fun pictures.
Congratulations to the winners of the Selfie Scavenger Hunt, Kam and Saylor Newman. They located all 16 clues and submitted pictures of each tagged with #heyhende in 2 hours and 10 minutes. For winning this scavenger hunt, they received HeyHende t-shirts and rode on the HeyHende float in the Community Days parade.
There was a tie for the winners of the most creative submission which goes to Sadie Carr and the team of Kroeker girls, including MaKenna Kroeker, Keeley Kroeker, and Megan Kroeker. All additional participants in the scavenger hunt were entered in to a drawing for a free t-shirt and the winner was Jill Govig. Each of these individuals can contact the Henderson Chamber with their shirt size and they will receive a HeyHende shirt as well.
With such great feedback from this event and the HeyHende campaign, we will be selling HeyHende shirt for a discount of $10 (regularly $15) until school starts.
