The Huskie Basketball Teams both faced McCool Junction in their first game of the annual Holiday Tournament at home last Friday. The girls won over the Mustangs with a 52-24 victory.

On Saturday, the Huskies faced the winners of the other tournament game for the championship. The girls played a tough Sterling team and fell short 24-39 against the Jets. After the tournament, the girls have a 5-4 season record.

The boys also had an upset after playing a talented Doniphan-Trumbull team. A final score of 61-42 secured the win for the Cardinals. This was the boys second season loss, and they currently hold a 6-2 record.
