HHCS Foundation 4th Annual Golf Tournament Held [RESULTS] [PHOTOS]

Galaway Creek Golf Course hosted the 4th Annual HHCS (Henderson Health Care Services) Foundation Golf Tournament last Friday afternoon.  Forty-four golfers turned out for the team scramble event helping raise over $7,000 for the HHCS Foundation.

“The money this tournament raises will be used to help purchase new cardio rehab equipment,” said HHCS Administrator Cheryl Brown.  Tournament organizers Lowell Siebert and Lelan Thieszen want to recognize the many donors who make this annual tournament such a success.

The 2013 hole sponsors include:  A & L Sales & Service, Vic Sowl Central Nebraska Wood, Cornerstone Bank, Don Baker, Henderson Pharmacy, Henderson State Bank, John Kroeker Techmeyer Financial, Kroeker & Kroeker Insurance & R.E., and Tom McKenny.  Team sponsors were Dwaine Friesen and Dr. Jim Ohrt.

Flag prize sponsors include:  Bergen Friesen Insurance Agency, Bottorf & Maser, Channel Seed (Lynn Gloystein & Tammy Ott) , Grand Island Radiology, Go Ag Services, Henderson Car Wash, Henderson Coop, Henderson Meat Processors, Henderson State Bank, Hiebner Body Shop, Mainstay Communications, Metz Mortuary, Nebraska Hospital Association, Tri County Motors/Carquest, Virg’s Plumbing (Scott & Cindy Erb), and York Heating & Air.

First place winning team of the first flight were: Ken Bergen, Aaron Campbell, Jay Kroeker, and John Kroeker.  The second place was won by: Cheryl Brown, Andrew Sheridan, Alex Thayer, and Beth VanKirk.  First place winners of the second flight were: Rick Hiebner, Jim Mestl, Justin Ott, and Corbin Tessman.  Second place was: Derek Friesen, Tyler Newton, Cameron Quiring, and Carlie Weisheit.
