The Huskie Boys had a tall task Tuesday night as they took on the #1 seeded team in the D1-2 Subdistrict (19-3) the BDS Eagles. The Huskies stayed within reaching distant of BDS throughout most of the game but trailed 14-21 at halftime.  The third quarter proved well for the Huskies as they came within three points after a pair of free throws from Senior Brent Regier to make it 22-25 with 3:49 remaining in the quarter.  However, the Huskies were never able to break into the three point deficit and trailed the rest of the game. Because the Huskies were forced to foul the Eagles in the 4th quarter many of the BDS points came from the line. Unfortunately for the Huskies the Eagles were perfect from the free throw line in the 4th quarter going 10/10.  The score would eventually be a loss for the Huskies, 32-47.

The Huskies have much to be proud of this season as they continued to improve and are continuing to build a great foundation for the Huskie Boys program. We would like to thank the Seniors this year which include Lincoln Ruybalid, Brent Regier, Deit Driewer and Alex Hostler for the fine efforts all year-long.  The Huskies will end their season with a winning record of 12-11.
