For the fourth time this season the Huskies were matched up against the Thayer Central Titans this time in the consolation match of the 2012 Southern Nebraska Conference tournament last Friday night. The Huskies had beat Thayer the previous two times before Friday’s match but were not able to beat them a third time in a row when it mattered most. Thayer came out strong winning the first two sets but the Huskies battled back to win the third.  The fourth set was back and forth the whole way but Thayer was able to finish it off and win 22-25 and win the match 1-3.

The Huskies don’t have any time to rest as they travel to Thayer Central for the opening round of Sub-Districts tonight and will take on Exeter-Milligan (24-4) at 6:30pm. You can listen live right here on HeartlandBeat.com.
