Thanks to strong leadership from the 8th graders and gritty play by the 7th graders, the Heartland Huskie Jr. High Football Team had a successful season with three wins and one loss. The team lost its home opener on September 10 to Osceola 20–24. They went on to win their next 3 games: at Heartland Lutheran (40–14), Giltner (48–18), and at Exeter-Milligan (44–6).
