The Heartland Huskies made short order of the homecoming match up win against Nebraska Christian. Â Three quick sets determined the Huskies the victor as they prepare for next week’s conference tournament.
Ashton Kroeker was, again, big at the net getting her hands on most spikes coming her way and racking up some blocks as well. Â Hitters were big tonight with Sara Brune, Mikaelyn Dick and Ashley Quiring getting some great sets by Ashley Bittinger and Maelyn Huebert.
The teams looks like their are having fun and ready to turn it up a notch as they head into the tail end and most important part of the season. Â The Huskies pull the #1 seed for the SNC tournament starting on Monday. They will play the winner of Wilber-Clatonia/Centennial at 6:30pm at Heartland Community Schools.
Heartland Homecoming festivities will continue through the week with a pep rally and parade on Friday followed by the football team taking on Red Cloud. Â The homecoming court and king and queen will be announced at the duration of the game. Â All these events will be live streamed right here on HeartlandBeat.com.
