October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Henderson Health Care (HHC) is sponsoring our first annual Pink Day on Wednesday, October 24, for residents of Henderson and Sutton.
For a donation of $2 per person, participating businesses can wear pink and denim. Sutton and Henderson high schools have been invited to participate as well as employees of HHC. Any organizations who are interested are welcome to join in this special Pink Day.
All donations from Henderson should be mailed to HHC or brought to our facility at 1621 Front Street, Henderson, NE 68371, by November 1. Sutton donations should go to our Sutton Family Clinic at 1106 N. Saunders Ave., Sutton, NE 68979.
If dropping off your donation, you can fill out a form to be entered into a drawing for a catered gourmet lunch at your place of business. If mailed, we ask that you be sure to list how many people in your company participated, and you will be entered into the drawing.
HHC will take group pictures of high school students wearing their pink which will appear in our newsletter and on our website. Participating students will each receive a big pink cookie from HHC.
Donations will be collected and sent to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.
