A fallen soldier who loved bull riding is honored this Friday and Saturday, July 20th and 21st at Junction Motor Speedway. The event will be held at 7:30PM on both nights.
The Pioneer sponsored Winners Circle II Bull Riding Challenge is in memory of LCPL Hunter “HD” Hogan. Â LCPL Hogan died on June 23, 2012 while serving our country by conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. Â The night to honor him will be packed with Mutton Bustin kicking off both nights at 6PM. Â This has a $5 entry fee and will be fun for all, whether you are participating or watching. Â Funnyman, Steve “Snorkle” From will be adding to the entertainment as well as Mini-Bulls on Saturday night. Â Announcer Randy Taylor will be keeping the event alive and moving.
The Bull Riding Challenge will be a great time and a time to remember LCPL Hogan. There will be a 50/50 Cash Raffle that will go to benefit the HD Hogan Memorial Rodeo Scholarship Fund.
Tickets for the event are $11 in advance or $14 at the gate. Â Children 6-12 tickets are $7 and the event is free to any child 5 and under. Â Tickets are available at Junction Motor Speedway, Kerry’s in McCool, Western Edge in York and Grand Island.
