This summer you have the opportunity to participate in Henderson Community Night at a Lincoln Salt Dogs Game, Sunday June 10, at Haymarket Park beginning at 5:00 p.m.
This is an even better opportunity for elementary students (K-6) since they are eligible to be a Watchdog during the game. This means that your child could be announced during the starting lineup, will run out onto the field with one of the Saltdogs players and may even receive an autographed item from the player.
Henderson can only have 12 watchdogs during the game, so the first 12 elementary students that sign up at City Hall with a purchased ticket will get to participate in this once in a lifetime experience.
Attending the Henderson Community night at the Saltdogs is not just a great opportunity for students, it is also a fun family activity and a way to promote our community. In order to participate in the promotion activities for our community the Henderson Chamber of Commerce will be selling discounted tickets at City Hall and during the first Farmers Market. The last day to purchase tickets is Friday June 8.
Sitting is in the baseline reserved seating for $9 a person, these tickets are a reduced price compared to the tickets sold at the gate ($9.90-$13.90) making this a great opportunity for you and your family to see the third base action up close.
