The York County Relay for Life will take place at the York County Fairgrounds on June 9 and 10.Â

The local Henderson Team will have an area available for Henderson folks to gather, relax and visit while taking a break from their walk around the ‘track’.
One slight change from past years is that instead of a complete meal served in a central location, each ‘campsite’ (hosted by the various money-raising teams) will offer one or more food item. All cancer survivors will be given credit to use toward a meal/snack combination of their choice. All other participants at the relay will be asked to make a donation toward the food(s) that they would like to eat.  In this way, each fundraising team has the opportunity to add to their total fundraising efforts with the additional donations from the food items. A major reason for making the change in how the meal is being handled is that there was a large amount of food that was wasted in past years and there were not people interested in making donations to ‘buy back’ the leftovers.
