The program is called Grow Communities and is sponsored by Monsanto. One Monsanto customer in the states of Nebraska, Iowa, Upper Missouri, Lower Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio is selected by county. The customer is then allowed to select one non-profit organization to present the $2,500 award to. The Heartland FFA plans to use the funds for leadership training and community service projects.
