Hard work paid off for four Heartland basketball players as they were recognized in the Omaha World Herald’s All-State announcements.
Junior, Mikaelyn Dick had another solid season this year averaging 14 points per game for the Huskies and a lot of those games she was being double-teamed. For Mikaelyn’s great efforts this year for her team, she earned a place on D-1’s Second Team All-Nebraska team. Congratulations to Mikaelyn for all her accomplishments this season and we look forward to more success on the court next year.
Other Heartland players honored this year were juniors, Sara Brune and Brent Regier and freshman, Jordan Heinrichs. All three of these athletes were recognized as All-Nebraska Honorable Mention in the Omaha World Herald. HeartlandBeat.com is proud of all your accomplishments and we are happy to be able to follow the Huskie basketball teams. It is exciting to get to see all of you back next year.
