In order to incorporate the 125th Anniversary Celebration throughout the community, the Steering Committee would like to put 125th Celebration Banners on some of our streets. These banners will have the 125th Anniversary logo, created by Kerri Pankratz, and will hang in place of the Welcome to Henderson Banners for 2012.
In order to make this project possible, we are looking for individuals, businesses and friends of Henderson to help us fund this project by helping us cover the cost to make these banners. Each banner costs $56, so we are looking for donations of this amount. If we place banners along 17th Street, Front Street and Main Street, we will need 39 banners.
This is a great opportunity to get involved in the 125th Celebration and see your contribution hanging in the community for the entire year. Those sponsoring a banner will also have the option to keep their banner after 2012, which will be a collector item with only 39 available.
