An exciting game ending with an unfavorable outcome for the Huskies as they lost to Bruning-Davenport-Shickley 40-49 and ended their season.

The game was even closer than the score showed as the Huskies put up a good fight for the entire four quarters. Leading after the first quarter and only being down by a point in to finalize the third quarter, this game was quite the nail biter.

Freshman, Cole Nickels stepped up again to end the game with team high 14 points. It was BDS’s Tegtmeier that was too much for the Huskies to handle as he had 41 of the Eagles’ 49 points.

It was a building season for Heartland as they went 7-16 on the season. With a lot of familiar faces returning next year, the team looks to continue to improve. Good season Huskies!
