Bethesda Mennonite Church welcomes you to a community event this Sunday, February 12 featuring guest speaker, Miriam Thimm Kelle. She will be speaking on the topic forgiveness: “forgiving my brother’s murderers.”

Miriam Kelle’s brother, James Thimm, was murdered nearly 27 years ago by an anti-government cult leader Michael Ryan, one of the 11 men now on Nebraska’s death row.

James Thimm was gruesomely murdered through months of torture, but Miriam, who is a nurse from Beatrice, wants her brother’s killer to live. She has forgiven his killers.

Miriam Thimm Kelle is coming to Bethesda to speak about her brother’s death, her struggle to forgive and her faith. There is a possibility of her speaking along side of one of the men who participated in killing her brother. Any further questions regarding James Thimm’s murder can be researched on the internet and guests are welcome to come to the event with any questions.

Miriam Kelle is in hopes that her message will be on point for the Henderson community and that it will reach in a way that speaks to our need to forgive. Do not miss this event.

Child care will be available. Coffee and rolls will also accompany the event.
