Don’t miss the new and exciting activities that will be taking place to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Henderson at the Home Show on Saturday, February 25 from 9 am to 2 p.m. in the Heartland gym.
At the 125th Anniversary booth, also known as the Q125 booth, you will find products and information pertaining to activities taking place during 2012. The first three memorabilia items will be unveiled at the Home Show and will be available for purchase that day by cash, check or credit card. Individuals who have already joined the 125 Club will be able to pick up their certificate and polo at this booth and those still wanting to join the 125 Club can sign up at the booth as well. Money is still being raised for the banner project and donations can be made at the Q125 booth, where you will be able to see what the banner will look like.
In addition to memorabilia and items for sale, this booth with also have a wealth of information with schedules for the year and information about different events taking place. Tickets for several of the events including the Food Demonstrations can also be purchased during the Home Show. The Q125 booth will also have a FREE activity for kids at the booth, so be sure to check it out.
As a way to recognize events that happened during the Centennial, a slide show of pictures from the centennial will run at the north end of the gym during the morning. In addition, the Centennial video will be played at 10:00 a.m. at the north end of the gym. This video gives the history of the community and highlights many of the events that took place during the centennial.
