The Heartland Huskie Basketball teams hosted the Thayer Central Titans last night at Heartland Community School. The Girls Varsity action started off with the Lady Huskies having a big first quarter putting up 17 points. They would go on to win the game 47-26, being led by Junior, Mikaelyn Dick who had 21 points. The Boys Varsity kicked off a bit differently with a low scoring first quarter as the Huskie Boys could only put up 5 points. The Huskies were led in scoring by Junior, Brent Regier with ten points. Â The Titans would prevail in the matchup and beat the Huskies 35-42.
