Although the Huskies may not have gotten the jump they wanted in Tuesday nights game against D-2’s #8 ranked Hampton Hawks, they proved they wanted the win in a four set victory.
The Huskies let the Hampton Hawks get a quick lead to begin the match and the Huskies eventually dropped that first set. Â However, this fueled the fire for the team as the came back with determination, took the lead and did not look back in the next three sets. Â The Huskies won the match in four sets: 18-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-15.
This was a big win as the team looked like things were starting to click for them. Â This takes the Huskies to a 5-4 record as they go into tonight’s home match up against the Harvard Cardinals starting at 6pm Junior Varsity game and 7pm Varsity game.
