The Huskie Volleyball team did not skip a beat after a big win Tuesday against Hampton as they controlled start to finish in the win against Harvard last night – 25-15, 25-12, 25-14.

The game was quick and the team played together well. Â Strong play from the Huskie hitters (Sara Brune, Miranda Janzen, Mikaelyn Dick, and Ashton Kroeker) allowed Heartland to get some playing time to girls that have not seen the varsity court yet this year. Â Sophomore outside hitter, Leah Friesen came off the bench with some great serving and also picked up a kill.
The team is gaining good experience heading into the heart of the season as they head to Wymore for the Southern Tournament this Saturday. The Huskies go into this tournament with a 6-4 record and rated #4 in Class D-1.
