The Heartland Boys Golf Team headed down to Geneva yesterday for the Fillmore Central Golf Invite. The competition was tough as there were 11 teams and 66 golfers competing in yesterday’s invite. Despite the intense winds the Heartland Boys finished in 2nd place as a team.
Here are the results:
Spencer Friesen – 7th place – 87
Jesse Nissen – 8th place – 87
Luke Fochtman – 12th place – 92
Other team members were Deit Driewer – 103; and Luis Romo – 106.
The team doesn’t have much time off as they travel to Milford on Wednesday April 13th and begin play at 9:30 am.
